Hiša Vuga stands at the green confluence of the Idrijca and the Soča. Perhaps it is precisely for this reason that this imposing building, set in a small town, has become a meeting point of cultures. With its remarkable literary past, it brings together tradition and cosmopolitanism, celebrating creativity and connection. These are things we very much need.
I had the honor of being the first (overnight) guest of the emerging literary residency Hiša Vuga in Most na Soči. A place with a view! Through its windows once looked Ciril Kosmač and Vitomil Zupan. Barbara will gladly tell you the rest—go visit her.
